No. The free checker compares version text you enter. Scan collects supported package and process details from a connected server.
Will Scan repair my server?
Scan provides an assessment. Choose Patch to install an eligible PHP security update. You do not need to buy Scan before Patch.
What if Scan cannot finish?
Full refund if we can’t complete your scan. Your job page shows refund status.
Can I use Scan with managed hosting?
You need administrator access to a supported server. If your hosting company manages PHP, start by asking its support team for the full package details.
